King Ranch Casserole

Sydney has been helping her daddy in the kitchen for a while now, so whenever he makes his famous King Ranch Casserole, she brings her helping chair in and he directs her to layer the tortillas or spoon the filling.

Yesterday when he was making it, though, he found that she needed very little direction and was able to assemble the casserole almost completely by herself.

I can't believe how much cooking Sydney is already doing at the age of three and cannot wait to taste some of the dishes she'll be making by the time she's in school.
