Jeremy just left the house to run an errand.
Sydney watched him leave and then in a very sad voice said, "Aw, I wanted to play with him. He's my best friend."
On the one hand, I know that we aren't parenting to be friends with our kids. On the other hand, hearing her sweet voice use the words "best friend" when talking about her daddy is pretty endearing.
