Aunt Jennie Sue took Joseph to came today and broke her journey out to Medina here with us. I was out at a 75% off clearance sale (knowing that my aunt supports bargain shopping wholeheartedly) and so I missed the first twenty minutes or so of her visit, and when I walked in the door, this is what I saw: Sydney and Aunt Jennie Sue and Jeremy playing Trouble, with Jack looking on. Sydney was so very sweet to her great aunt. For the last two days, Sydney has been sick with some sort of sore throat that isn't strep and while Aunt Jennie Sue was here, Sydney forgot to be sick, asking to be tickled and jumping all around. At the end of the evening, Sydney was telling her daddy from the other room, "I just love her so much!"
I do, too, and it was particularly special to have her here with us for the evening. Maybe she'll stop back by at the end of the week on her way to pick Joseph up.
How great that y'all got to have Aunt Jennie Sue time! Looks as though everyone had fun. Y'all's family culture of gaming is something so cool about you and Jeremy and the children. I like that you have a fun way to connect.
