Quick question: In Winnie the Pooh (the original cartoon), does Owl sing a song?
You know Tigger does. He sings the "most wonderful thing about tiggers" song. You know Pooh does. He sings "up down, touch the ground" and "I'm just a little black rain cloud" among others.
But does Owl sing?
Sydney says he does. I told her he didn't. Her daddy backed me up. Owl does not sing.
She was right, we were wrong.
We feel that this is just the first of many times we will be saying that.
Watch the part when they are pulling Winnie the Pooh out of Rabbit's house and you will see Eeyore, Owl, Christopher Robin, Kanga, and Roo (Piglet is inexplicably missing and Tigger has not yet come to the Hundred Acre Woods) are all singing:
"Hurray for you
Hurray for me
The Pooh will soon be free..."
Owl does, indeed, sing a song.
