Halloween Party

Today the kids' daycare had their Halloween party. I have attended a lot of school parties -- mostly and most recently as the teacher.

I have to say that they are a lot more fun when you are the parent. I didn't have to prepare anything (other than the stuff I sent in last week). I didn't have to make polite chit-chat with the other parent. I didn't have to worry about the misbehavior of any child but my own, and she was beside herself with sugary happiness.

Now I can't wait for the Christmas party.
