Before we could leave Houston, we had to go over to Grandma's house. Sydney always loves seeing her grandma and playing with her cousins.
It was really nice to see so many of the Langs again, as well. I know it wasn't easy to have a get-together like this on a work night, so I really appreciated all of the folks who love us so much and don't mind a little inconvenience to share some Christmas cheer with family.
By the end of the evening, the kids were pretty well worn out, but in that happy way that says they have had a good visit and will sleep all the way home.
Which they did.
