After the experience at the Children's Museum and having Sydney ask almost daily for a chance to either color or do arts and crafts, I decided, at least for the summer, to create a special space for her to have on-going projects and be able to work independently and without adult direction.
Obviously I wished I had a walk-in closet as a child.
We'll see how it goes. She has already done three different projects, self-starting and stopping and at one point I saw her go into her brother's room, get some wipes and then go into her room and come out with watercolor soaked wipes, so obviously the whole "you have to keep your space clean" message was taken to heart.

So cool! I was wondering if her special art space would be in her closet.
