Welcome to Wonderland

I swear this isn't my backyard. For one thing, it's too green. But I do really want a bridge over untroubled waters in my backyard, and the pinwheels were inspired by my own garden.

It's Grandma and Grandpa Nolen's backyard.

We met up with Rachel, Will and Jamie there and it was a special treat to get to have all the great grandkids together with Grandpa and Grandma.

The kids enjoyed the kiddie pool and the bubbles. Sydney poured hers out into the pool to make a bubble bath before I could stop her. I told her, "See, now you don't have any bubbles!"

"It's okay," said Grandma Nolen with a twinkle in her eye, "I bought a refill bottle just in case." Of course she did.

We saw Uncle David, Aunt Jessica and her Jonathan, Grandma and Grandpa. The Great Aunt Peggy, though, had to work.

Missing her was unacceptable to Sydney and me, so we met up at Olive Garden after work one day.

It was so nice to see the extended Nolen family.
