Starting the Summer at Sea World

Wednesday, we went to San Antonio with the Fords. Our first stop (after the hotel, of course) was Sea World.

We arrived just in time to feed the dolphins. We always enjoy the dolphin tank, but have never fed them.

Sydney loved it!

After the dolphins, we went to the Shark/Coral Reef house, which is our other favorite part of Sea World.

After the dolphins and fish, we wanted to see the water park, but found it was closed. We went instead to the new "Bay of Play" which is a Sesame Street themed play and splash area for the kids.

Sydney and Jack both enjoyed the climbing structures but neither of them were impressed by the splash zone, which was mostly just a bunch of sprinklers.

Sydney did, however, LOVE the rides. She and Jeremy found this new ride and went on it about six or seven times.

Knowing that the kids' primary goals at Sea World are seeing the dolphins and the Coral Reef house makes me think I could take them again on my own later in the summer. We'll see.
